I have tried to log into the classifieds section to post a new listing.

It asks for my email and password. Unfortunately it says either email or password is incorrect.

I then try to enter my email for it to send me a new password (mind you I am already logged in to OSO) However it says, this email is not registered in our system.

Being a computer novice I check my account under profile settings and it is correct.

I then try to reregister on classifieds, however it then says my profile name already exists.

I did hit the contact us button and wrote out the issue but thought this might be faster.

Any help??

You need to register in the classifieds separately. Once done you can post.

The Classifieds and OSO Forums are completely separate. Neither recognizes the info from the other.

Based on what you posted, this is my best guess at what is happening.

Either someone else used your username when they registered in the Classifieds or you are registered with an old/different email address in the Classifieds.
Neither Cash Bar or myself have access to the Classified Registration info to help anymore than this.
I believe SpeedGirl might. Hopefully she or an IB Admin will respond.

Did you register in the classifieds specifically?

I'm a member on OSO... Was trying to register to help a friend sell a boat. I had a login at one time- under an old email address which I no longer have access to.

Probably easiest to just create a new classified account.

Clear your cache and cookies.
