Default Private messages download to save??

When your mail box gets full, used to be able to download as text and save them. Now it tries to save a PHP file, with no options. How do you save your pm messages so you can clear them out of your inbox and sent box?

At the bottom of your In Box/Sent Box there is an option

Download all Private Messages as:
XML | CSV | Text

I just tried it and all my messages downloaded to my computer as txt file.
