The picture frame icon now no longer uploads images, it only inserts urls to image hosting sites. To upload an image click the "paper clip" icon. That will allow you to browse your computer and upload files.

I don't know how to do screen shots. On the moble site their is four bars at the top left of the screen, it's the menu, when you click on it I think it's called " what's new" like Dodge said. The first time I was on the new desk top site the menu bar didn't load either. It wasn't their the fist time... I switched to the moble site then went back to the desktop and it was their. I also don't know if I was logged in either.... If that makes a difference |
As mentioned before. "what's new" is now called "New Posts"
This will only show up if you are logged in. When it did not show up, you were most likely not logged in. Can you verify this?

Are you sure you didn't restore a backup from 2007 by mistake during the "upgrade"?

Your ads are great and all, plus they make you money, but why in the hell are ads coming up IN people's posts? I made a post and when I looked at it there is a giant (bigger than the pik I posted) Tim Hortons ad. I do not represent Tim Hortons, I am not sponsored by Tim Hortons, I do not endorse Tim Hortons, I am in no way shape or form affliated with Tim Hortons (though I did once get a god awful sandwhich there, never again).
If you want to plaster ads all over, go for it, make your money, but please keep them the HELL OUT OF MY POSTS making it look like I am putting it there endorsing it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
The ability to post attachments in a quick reply is gone with this version of the forum, however, it does remain in Advanced mode.
