Can you please provide a screenshot of the offending ad in question?

Your ads are great and all, plus they make you money, but why in the hell are ads coming up IN people's posts? I made a post and when I looked at it there is a giant (bigger than the pik I posted) Tim Hortons ad. I do not represent Tim Hortons, I am not sponsored by Tim Hortons, I do not endorse Tim Hortons, I am in no way shape or form affliated with Tim Hortons (though I did once get a god awful sandwhich there, never again).
If you want to plaster ads all over, go for it, make your money, but please keep them the HELL OUT OF MY POSTS making it look like I am putting it there endorsing it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Good news, guys! We can implement "Likes" again. How (if any way) were you getting notified before and how could you keep track of likes? Was it just by checking the post?
|
it showed up in your profile also sent a notice when you logged on /changed pages etc like if you had a new pm

I still don't see the Like button anywhere (??)
Also, everytime I visit the site, I have to login again. If I don't close my browser, why do I have to "re" login everytime? My old routine was.... - Alt-Tab to browser - click "New Posts" - open each "New Posts" page (usually 1 ~ 3 pages per day) - scan through the list of threads/posts, opening those that interested me in a new browser tab (right click, open in new tab) - then read the thread/posts and/or reply at my leisure I'm not sure my old routine works anymore. I think the old "New Posts" link only showed posts that I haven't opened yet or those that had new activity/posts. |

Not sure I was given that option, but I'll check.

I get username, password, remember me, and button to login. This is all in the upper right hand corner of the forums - it now says...
Welcome, ALL_IN!. You last visited: Today at 02:05 PM Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 39. But I don't see any location for "keep me logged in". ...and my avatar shows up now. Not sure what I did to make that work.
