Looks like it does it when attaching a Facebook link also.
See my posts here where I all I did was quote myself Anybody have any pics of the Mich light 39 Larry Smith scarabs

In post #7 the facebook link does not appear. If I click edit, I can see the facebook link in my text. If you click the edit, you will see it is there.
In post #8 all I did was quote myself. I did not add the facebook link.
