renew/upgrade versus copy/duplicate

renew/upgrade versus copy/duplicate
One of these will show it as a new listing and will be posted as a recent listing with a refreshed 0 on the views counter and the other will just let it stay as is but with an extended listing. Which is which ? thanks

Copy/duplicate should show it as a new listing with 0 views.
