I'm going to have my son with me so i'll be in the 65 and below class also.
Hope to get to meet all the people I cut up with on this forum.
See ya'll Friday, Ken.
Kenny - You know you are going to have to hide those boat keys from your son before you know it BTW - the going rate for a tow is a cold frosty beverage.

Hey guys I have never been involved in a poker run or (fun run sorry). If you enter 65 and over do you have to maintain a 65+ speed the whole time to qualify or is it just for show.

Chanllenger DDC33,
The 65+ class is usually the boats that run 80-90+. If your boat only runs 65-70 mph u probably should run 65 and under or you'll be running by yourself in the fast class.

There are alot of boats that can run comfortably over 65 and that is basically their cruise. The will top out closer to the 80's or so. These are the kind of boats that are going to run in the 65+ group.

I normally pick the class in which my boat can run comfortably. For example, if I run WOT the entire thing I can bounce off 65 but I am not going to do that. I would rather cruise it around 53 or so and run in the slower group.

All depends on your boat. If you can run 65+ without taxing your equipment, I say go with that group, if not, run with the other crowd.

My boat will top out at 77 to 79 but I don't think I will cruise about 65 or so to save on fuel. I just did not want to look like a amiture with a 32ft boat with a merc 600. As I said I have not done one of these before, so I think I will be doing alot of following the pack.

You will be fine in the 65 mph group.

You'll have a yellow and white 28' Challenger Messing with you all day if he doesn't mess it up this week. Bust his ass early and enjoy the rest off the day! (Just kidding Dwayne)!

P.S. We saw you at Dogleg a couple of weeks ago. If it didn't have Challenger wrote on it we never would have figured out what was.
