One of my friends dad switched doctors a year and a half ago, and when they transferred the x-rays, the new dr. found a what he thought was a cancerous tumor 3inches wide in his chest xray. Sad thing was the chest x-ray was from 4 years back. Immediately the new dr. took xrays and found the 3in tumor had grown to the size of a volleyball, , Dr. gave him less than a year to live, and told him that he thought fighting it with kemo, might just make his last months on earth miserable,,,,, His dad decided to fight,, and three months ago the growth was fought down to the size of a marble, and the cancer is now in remission. So keep up the hope, should he find something bad,, tell him to FIGHT it no matter what!!!!! Seems like cancer treatment has made some very good advancements over the years.
