There is a guy in Seabrook that bought a 45 Sonic with "stress cracks" from insurance salvage and he took it to Southwest Composites(?) a fiberglass fabricator in League City and they fixed it solid.

I don't know jeffman, that is a broad assumption about the engine being blown from the oil slick. I saw alittle oil on the valve cover but none on the inside or outside of the transom.....and I have 20/10 vision.

Having said that, I have no doubt that the engine is blown.......I just don't think it is from the oil slick :drink::evilb::eek:
