apache engines are frone shaft output not rear, it ould be done but you would lose 550hp just in the gear boxes going to the transom plus whatever you lose at the transmissions and drives. you would start with 1250 a side though

This was Howard Arneson's 46 foot skater that did 185 mph with a single turbine. He used little jet pumps on each side of the transom for docking.:eek:
