I hope you are right its a pain in the azz to change the jets in this carb because of my coil bracket. Dean Gellner semms to think i will have to jet down also but im no carb expert so i guess maybe i will have to run it down to conroe on wed and have someone school me.
I don't know what you are running, ut when we started working on the carbs with the dyno we only gained about 15 hp and 20lbs of torque on a large displacement motor. I don't know if you would be able to tell the difference if you were tuning the engines in the boat? Also I don't know for sure that you would get as much gain on a smaller displacement like a 502 or 454.
THat is just my thought with extra knowledge from yesterday. I am sure i will learn more today as we had a ignition problem with the port motor last night when we first tried to fire it.
I am changing plugs first. I think that is what it is.

sucks though. I wouldn't want burns in my ****.
You know if a cigarette fell on the smooth operator it would ignite all of the deeply encrusted oil residue and explode.
