The game wardens have been sneaking in and out of my cove hanging out. I guess they think that is a good place to set up a speed trap just so you guys be aware.

Either that, or they were inspecting a report of a menacing looking boat with a wing on the back of it tied up at the dock.

Is "menacing" French for antique???

Great weekend, thanks to Tom and Kelly for a nice ride. Mush's boat sounded nasty.... Wade's made all the stops and still had enough gas in it to take me to the damn dam this afternoon and it was fun being faster than everyone else on saturday even though some say they let us pass just to be nice we could tell certain v bottoms were giving it all they had to try and keep up way to go t-bone!!!!

Ya it ran, we didn't make all the stops because it decided to get a little moody about mid day, but a quick trip to the house and she was back on "GO".

I need a little time with the tuning to get it ready for an all out run, but so far 1/2-2/3 throttle is pretty nasty.

I need a bigger fuel line through the seporator, because at 2/3-3/4 it starts running out of gas.

Couple other things, but I think the engine is a success so far.

Good luck with the boat, and get us some pics soon so Tbone can christen it for you.

So, how fast has the Rum Runner gotten so far? I saw you guys heading towards Eldo's. Sounded around 4500, but it looked around 70 ish. Have you put it on a GPS yet?

Pretty cool looking boat from the shore.

Saw Creedo and company at storage getting ready for the big trip. THey are leaving tonight.

4500 was all she had....need to do some more adjusting. It sure felt like 70 but unfortunately @ 4500 we were only running 61 on my hand held GPS. Maybe the throttle linkage or maybe props, or maybe that's all she's got, but I doubt it.

Does it stop at 4500 wile still feeding it the throttle, or does it just stop reving evenly with the throttle all the way?

It looks good anyway.

Did you guys see a funny looking boat that looked like it had a propellor pushing it. about 20' long. Loud as hell.

Couldn't really get a good look at it from shore.
