WSTULTZ this is the part you need for your hatch motor, it is set up perfect no splicing no additional relays or anything, it is designed for this specific use

TMAN if you don't have wiring for it you need one of those solonoid switches i just told your brother to get

napa prob won't have it, grainger would though, the switch you can get off the shelf at tx boat center as much as i hate giving him money, could prob get switch from your dad to,
