two throttles is cool but old eagle eye got it, i thought it was some kind of bracket holding the shifters in place but it may be bungee cord... if that is the case it goes from cooooool to gheeeetttttooooooo!!!

Except those aren't the shifters, those look like the extra set of throttles for when the throttleman is on the other side of the driver, kind of like in my Magnum.

The Sutphen had them too on the Morse shifters it had before I took them off and sold them. There are quite a few old racers out there that have some kind of make shift holder like that. I guess it beats holding them down the whole race.
