i just went to B&B uphostery on 2920 to get the seam on the transom pad redone. About 3" of thread has come apart. Now I removed from the hatch and took it to them. Only labor is remove vinyl from wood..(wood still good) sew and staple back to old wood. To sew the area that came apart $300 to replace the whole thing $375 and 5-6 weeks....WTF

That is allmost as good as a gov't contract. Replace the whole thing 5-6 years and 10 billion. It might be more if materials or labor costs go up by the time we are ready to get around to working on it.

You guys must run on Sundays because I'm out just about every Saturday just not always at Conroe. We go to a lot of different places...San Jac River, Kemah/Galveston, Travis, etc. When we do go to Conroe, we usually go raft up on the Northend. I haven't racked up 400 hrs on that boat being a trailer monkey that's for sure.

If I had your kind of money, I wouldn't let mine sit on the trailer in the shop either.

Luis -- Just Boats -- 936-443-1789. He has done 3 boats for me now, he is the cheapest around, and he does good work quick. He did my banana interior, cabin, and mooring cover in 3 weeks and he started from scratch.
