OK. Ran across a great line a litle while ago. What movie did it come from. I actually don't know, but need to.

That is super classic.

Good run today. On the way back to the trailer the wind was howling as the storm was rolling in. The Rum Runner caught more air than she has ever caught and from quartering seas. I haven't ever been out on Conroe when it was rolling like that. Most fun I've had by myself in a long time. If the rain wasn't about to hit, i would have made a few more passes from the damn to the bridge.

Got to see both sides of Conroe yesterday... relatively nice when we put in and cruised around and then white tops with the storm coming in. Couldn't push it too much since I had the wife and kids on board. We anchored by the dam for most of the day. Looked like TOPPS had pretty good raft going. I might have to check into joining and meeting some of you guys.

Bring it man. That was just a little "no frills" run. When we have our big poker run in July it will be four times the size. It's a lot of fun. Let one of us know if you would like to join and you can get all the paperwork at www.topps-lakeconroe.com.

Good time BBQ at Dougie's today. Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. I'll be paying for it tomorrow but it was well worth it.

I know many of you already have plans for memorial day weekend,but in case you dont... My brother,and I will be having a blowout memorial day weekend party, at the clubhouse on the water, in the French quarters neighborhood...

Also we will be having a award winning rodeo cookoff team throwing down on the pit... We have plenty of boat slips for those who attend by boat,that are directly in front of the clubhouse....

Prior to the party,around noon.. We will be having a boat cruise from the clubhouse for a couple of hours.....

BBQ,and KEGS will be open around 5,and the band will start around 6.......
