I am starting to come around to the later way of thinking. Either that, or I have drank to much of the rasbery vodka lately.

That spectre is bad azz. Take the tunnel tab off it and it will probably be reasonable to insure. About 3K a year +-

I had one just like it quoted last year at 100K hull value and that was the quote.

What difference does the tunnel tab make to the insurance company??

Trust me, it affects handling and overall speed and makes the speed calculator take into the next speed bracket. If you take it off, you can claim it does under 110, which is the underwriting cut off, even though it is faster than that. With the tunnel tab, there is no way they will buy into it not going over 110.

I have all ready had this discussion with everyone except Sy. Save your breath.
