Whats the story on Tickfaw? I cant see myself towing the boat down, but Im considering going boatless, even if there isnt a boat to ride in, a night in New Orleans, and the rest of the weekend, hitting the stops might be a good time. What do you guys think?

My plans depend really on how this storm plays out up here in Dallas. Boat should be ready to go. I have to be in NO the whole week before tickfaw for a FEMA flood conference. If it looks like I can get away from here, then maybe one of you guys can tow down for me to Hammond that thursday or friday? But I will know more next week.

George is supposed to be getting my oil changed, and the rest of the dash put together and boat cleaned up and prepped. After the last couple runs she seems to be good to go, so with a litle luck, LIQUID LUNCH should be ready to make an appearance in the big easy.

Maybe I can crash in someones room for a trade on a boat ride, and maybe someone can help me with some gas in the boat and we will be good to go. I don't have any guests reserved, so everything is up in the air. I would like to make the whole run in 1 day and then a side trip back to NO or somewhere else cool on the other day.
