A teen was arrested in April Sound Thursday evening after a warrant for impersonating a peace officer was issued for his arrest. It was reported that he had allegedly stopped and questioned other drivers as though he were a law enforcement official.
According to Department of Public Safety Trooper Samuel Laird, Ernest Rene Tomayo, 19, allegedly had a white Crown Victoria, which was a retired police vehicle, and had made stops on other drivers in the area.
“(The car) was solid white, he had Texas emblems on it, state stickers. There was a cage in the back and he had strobe lights in it,” said Laird.
The lights, according to Laird were amber and white.
“You can have lights, but they can’t be red and blue,” Laird said.
He added that amber and white lights, which are legal to have, cannot be used to pull people over.
Tomayo was allegedly pulling over and questioning motorists regarding drunk driving. He reportedly works for the Texas Department of Corrections in Huntsville.
Tomayo was arrested, charged with impersonating a peace officer, booked into the Montgomery County jail Thursday and released on Friday.
No additional information was available as of press time Friday.

Boat runs 38.9 on one engine.
Broke a drive on the way back and ran the last 25 miles on the port engine.
But this run is a lot of fun, lots of places to boat up here.We definately need to plan a trip up here one of these seasons.

You guys seen this. If Joew's truck didn't all ready fit in the garage, I know this would be a lott easier to clean up all the beer cans after the weekend. Just throw them in the back of the truck.

you didnt want to chime in on a code violation?? i just added a 3 ton a/c unit to a garage in grand harbor because a/c company said code could not have an a/c duct into a garage because of backflow of carbon monoxide and there was in issue due to fires as well but i wasnt listening......
blah blah blah.... code... blah blah.. danger... blah. blah... cant do that... blah blah.... liabilty
my response, house is in the county... and im paying cash so no code. make it happen and somebody will sign something saying no one is responsible for anything

I didn't want to be the typical safety sam that ruins a good thread. You can have ducts in the garage they just have to be blocked properly. I'd be more worried about the carbon monoxide than fire. I think that is hilarious how she folded down the tailgate to fold on. I can't wait to go home and show Megan that one so she knows how GOOD she has it.
