As of 9:45 p.m. Saturday night Lake Conroe risen to 196.03 feet. This is now only 4.97 feet below normal. On November 24, 2010 it was at 192.8 feet, the lowest of the season. The current level is the same level the lake was on September 6, 2011.

I used Stultzenheimers calculations to program the special navigation system and calculate the overall depth to ensure that we would make it up there without running ground. THe un calculated figure did not include the added weight of the beard, so I had to just gamble that the boat would still be the proper weight.
