Topps radar run in 1990. They used to put the radar boat on half plane and wake jump when it was finished on the way back in. That was Kurt going way too fast with it trimmed to the hills. Very much driver error but I get to hear about it every time someone mentions the word Sutphen. I believe Kurt was a member of clear lake and visiting for the run. He also had an awesome 38 Sutphen with 1100s and 6s that was the loudest thing I'd ever heard. He drove the "heartbeat Chevy" fountain race boat back in the day as well

I put in at Lakeview utilizing their "valet service" since I have a SRW tower and can't pull her out there. I can pull her out under the Kemah bridge Is there a ramp open on Mondays or any time fort that matter that is similar in slope as the Kemah one on Conroe?

The end of 830 boat ramp is a free public ramp.

Have you seen the lake in the last two months? Its up close to two feet from the fall level. The only bad steep ramp is Inland Marine. I have dropped my 42 in 830, Anchorage, Stow Away, April Plaza, Lakeview, Walden ect..ect.. at the current lake level.

Its been 6 weeks and when I stopped at April didn't have boat but they looked SHUTTERED. Lakeview was closed. Was asking since I have rear wheel drive and can't pull much. I can get out of ramp under Kemah bridge with relative ease and wondering which Conroe ramp is similar in slope and open every day. As usual Prolly gave to few details at first.
