Houston Metro Forecast
FLOOD WATCH WEST IN EFFECT UNTIL 7:00PM.
TONIGHT: Showers and pockets of heavy rain will diminish through this evening. Expect only isolated areas of light rain by 9:00 p.m. Evening temperatures will hover in the low 70s with overnight lows near 68.
TUESDAY: Expect our weather pattern to remain largely unchanged for Tuesday. Rain chances should be focused from Houston to the east as an upper level low pressure area slowly migrates through central Texas to the east. There will be isolated rain showers in the morning with more widespread showers and heavy downpours into the afternoon. Highs Tuesday will be in the low to mid 80s.
WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY: As the dome of high pressure finally breaks down over the southeast U.S., the disturbances that currently plague us with wet weather will migrate eastward into Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia, where abundant rain would be very welcome. As this happens, our weather will return to a more seasonable level. Temperatures will return to the upper 80s with only a small chance each day for isolated afternoon showers and storms.
Stay safe,
