that looks like a good deal. if the wiring is good and the engines are rebuilt like he says i would budget an extra 10k and in 4-6 months of install cleaning and all the extra little chit you will find you would have a sweet boat.:D

I would buy that boat for parts. Considering they are out of business and there is NOWHERE you can buy parts for it, good luck. The transportation would cost you 10gz to get it here (ask joew), my boat was in better shape than that one when we bought it and we are approaching 30grand on the rebuild of everything. Just by looking at it, it needs new apolstery, new bimini enclosure, new carpet (indoor and out), new cabin apolstery....thats probably another 10grand, and thats only what I can see. $800 to rebuild a generator...yeah right. Just throw it away and get a new one, thats what I am gonna do pretty soon. Recent rebuild on the engines means a new can of crusader blue spray paint and thats it. Like I said, I am seriously considering buying that boat for parts on mine....I could make a fortune parting it out across the nation.

10k and 4-6 months was exactly what I thought too, 28k ago. Ignorance is bliss......we all have such optimism when it comes to rebuilding boats. :D We all want the dream of having a cheap boat that runs well, in reality it never happens, but it is still a dream.... :D :drink:

I learned my lesson about buying a boat from a company that went out of business..........but I will still take a scarab 29' :p for really cheap, even if I have to do a bunch of work, it will cost less than 10k and will only take me a couple of months....:D
