Land this in Lake Conroe. It doesn't have to fly, we can just taxie it around the lake from dock to dock. Pull up to the island and say hey that's my plane.

Compared to appromiately the same cost as an older powerboat to buy it.
Paying storage all ready, avgas is allmost the same price as premium. I allready spend 5k a month on maintenance. Don't see the problem.
When do you want to go shopping? I have an instructor all ready lined up.

Tom, did any of your pics have us all tied up at the island? I took my boat pics to kinko's, you couldn't tell. They have a big azz machine to copy them. We use them for all our plats, some VERY big!

go rent a plane and pay the instructor. If you think it is for you then buy a plane after about 10 hours flighttime and rent it back to the flightschool. Your flight time is pretty much free, or close to it and someone else does the maintenance.....Just promise me, you won't do any engine work on it ..

I am going back to golf. I amortized the cost comparison. I could buy a new set of the top of the line golf clubs svery 2 weeks for the rest of my life, and it would still be cheaper than boats or planes.
