This is not texoma and there is not 200 boats entered. don't need 10 decks of cards.
There wil always be people like lefty who can't understand directions, so they muddy the waters until the rules change to their benefit or everyone just quits.
If you show up with either $200, or a boat that runs then we will re explain the rules of THIS RUN. If it we were on Lake Texoma, we would do it like Lake Texoma.
Pot will be slightly bigger than 400 bucks probably.

I am going to be an total A-Hole.......
Keep it simple.....Get a bucket cut a hole in the top and place 1 deck of cards in there with no jokers. Cover up the hole, so players can not see the cards they are drawing.
If a person wants an extra card they buy it prior to the drawing. With a 3 extra card max.
You mark what cards they drew on a sheet of paper and put them back in the bucket.
Top 3 hands win
I would also do $50.00 a hand vs. $200.00 it increases everybody odds of winning. Anybody can buy hands. You can still have a good size pot.
This is they way Lake Travis does it... It is very fun and simple.
Before you give me a smart azz comment back....like " This is not Lake Travis" and so on.......It works it is proven....
I know I am the smartest kid in the class........I also know I have done and ran more poker runs than everyone here combined

Wouldn't it be cool to say "that is the way Lake Conroe" does it.
I don't see what the problem is. THere is absolutely no stress at all for the participants on this.
Basically you pay the money. Go ride in your friggin boat. come back. pull some cards and win some money.
I am taking all possibilities of extra cards out of play. And since Tom and andy don't like jokers how about that too.
How about if everybody keeps *****in, we just go to the dam just like everyone else every friggin weekend.
