i would not buy that boat with your money. It was a mess no head,top deck needs to be wet sanded,needs new sunpad,one engine is locked up,wind screen is broken in several spots,missing gauges, all the electronics are missing,and all the stereo equipment was stolen. lots of stress crcks all over the boat. And thats what i saw in the first 3 mins.

I flew done to Miami before I purchase my boat to look at a "clean 42 Fountain"....only to find out it was an X US Customs boat. It still had holes on the bow from the machine gun mounts.
No cabin, bottom paint....ect...ect..

After being in Boatman22's Baja and Mike Nelson's Baja, I am becoming a big fan of the Whale Boats. THey ride good, have huge cabin's but they are not fast. I bet that 29 with the 454's would barely break 60. It would still beat the Crap Shoot though. I say make a run at 20k. At least you will know where they stand after the second pencil. The way the market is, I guarantee they will drop their pants on the second pencil and you will know their rock bottom price.
