Looking for somthing to protect the front of my trailer and boat. Was looking into these Road wing mudflaps. Looks like a good setup.. anybody running these or any other setup like it...

VERY happy with mine from www.mudflaps.com

Its expensive, but the only one you will ever need to buy as long as you stay with a 2" receiver, as it adjusts to each truck/load you are running. You cut and tap them the length you want when you first install, and then you can forever adjust them up and down with the arm, and in and out with the slides.

I painted mine to match my truck, and you can see them on BobbyB's dually as well. They make two sizes.

If you go with the NK's the following link has them for $30 cheaper than everywhere else.

No they do not. Its a big misconception. You can't use traditional ANTI-SWAY bar(s) with Surge Brakes. You can use WD bars.

Finished weldin mine, just need to paint and find some mudflaps... have $18 into it so far

Damn, thought that was a picture of mine at first. Same design. I did have a problem with the angled supports being in the way of both my plug in connector and I have to run my saftey cables threw the supports do to lack of planning.

I went the same route, home made. I bought a mudflap from a farm supply store and cut to fit. Mine goes past the truck tires on the outside and down to the ground. No rocks can get past it. Maybe a wind drag now! Under $20 completed.

Be careful having them TOO low. They will actually kick up rocks. The installation recommendations on mine were 2-3 inches from ground when loaded. That's why I like the Enkay setup as I can adjust (and do) on the fly.
