2112 I have seen some f350's with a short bed on a dually from the factory, dont know what wheel base it was crewcab 4x4 short. Hopefully one with more knowledge will pop in.

either that or you can put a dually rear under yours and get the fenders, it would be unique for sure

It is my understanding that converting to a dually requires both the front and rear axles to be swapped as well as a few other modifications to the frame. That doesn't bother me but there comes a point where it doesn't make economic sense.
Offshore... I hoping to have a supercab instead of a crewcab. I really like the short length of a supercab and shortbox. This truck is an 04 and the 6.0 is way more potent thatn the 7.3 I had in my 01. Just need to keep it up in the RPM band to use it. One other advantage to the dually is the available 4.33 gear ratio....perfect for the 6.0.

From my understanding, the only diff in the front axle is the hubs for a dually. My buddy took his springs and everything from his dually when he raised it and put them in his 2500 to give it a beefier suspension. Everything bolted up perfectly.pm Mat Raymond on here he may be able to get all the answeres as he owns a dealership in NC...Rob

the 350 to 250 springs will swap then you get the rear end and change out the front hubs to dually stlye or order a set of floats for the front and dual out the rear. I havent seen one in an extra cab(hence) short bed dually around thought, just the crews.
