Its a tad easier to sell a Chevy over a GMC when it comes to listing yourself. For example, many folks will type in Chevrolet Silverado in AutoTrader or turn to the Chevy section first when shopping the newspaper. I still prefer the GMC over the Chevrolet. Same thought; I think the Trans Am of the late 80s trumped the IROC-Z.

The GMC is sold up-market.
The Yukon Denali XL is positioned against the Toyota Landcruizer.
The Denali come w/ 6 liter engine standard vs. the 5.3 in the Chev. which you can only get in the 2500.
Depending on how much you want to tow do you need the 2500?
