i used it to tow a goosneck race trailer. 36' on the floor with an 8' overhang. She was loaded with 2 formula 2000 cars and all the support gear and spares needed to race them.
as for the actual tow rating i'm not sure. I'd guestimate around 15k lbs.

On my way down to Pickwick TN earlier this year with the 382, my Dodge lost a fuel pump about 7 hours from Pickwick. I was stranded! The local dealer found me a dually exactly like that one. 454 2WD (Extended cab) with about 100,000 miles. It pulled my 382 all the way there and back! Not the same as the Dodge pulled, but it made it! I was impressed. Drank a quart of oil every fillup, and it got abou 6mpg.
