I figure you could tow it once......but it'll take several months for the Ins. claim to be paid if you survive the aftermath.

The wheelbase on that Jeep is way too short to handle that weight. It will push you all over the place, not to mention the suspension, hitch, brakes, and drivetrain will never control that load, especially in an emergency. You need a minimum 3/4 ton for anything over a 25/26 performance boat (more than 7000-7500 lbs. total weight towed, boat, trailer, fuel, gear, coolers, people).
