Know what you mean about winter corrosion. I worked as an auto tech in Iowa for years and I love the difference I see in the vehicles here in the south. They last so long and so clean. Makes them much easier to work on too.

This is a low speed condition when braking. It causes the ABS to engage and lengthens low speed stops. It is actually scary because you are jammin on the brakes and the ABS is chattering and you should simply stop- but you keep rollin until the abs stops. At high speed it does not affect stopping.
I am a little suprised at stecz post, maybe he likes rice. I believe in supporting American companies, I don't see any offshore boats with Toyota V8's. My Yukon XL is a great vehicle and really this ABS issue is the only complaint I have. I get 18 mpg on the highway at 80 mph, haul 5 people and gear, and it pulls a trailer very well when I need it to.
