OK guys. Explain to me where there is valor in towing over capacity and admitting it
To point to other behavior to justify your stupid behavior is classic also
70 Miles is a long way to tow a boat when it's overloading your equipment I don't care if you do it once or 100 times.
As far as me saving up to buy a bigger truck and a bigger boat, nah, I'm just kicking around the idea of being even more comfortable than I already am in my towing capabilities, I don't have one of them big cigar type boats, mines a fun little 25...Safety first ya know

This thread reminds me of a thread from a few years ago. A guy goes and buys a 25 foot boat, puts 750 hp in it, and on this forum states that the guy who built the motor drove the boat and said it was a scary boat with that much hp and should not be driven. "It's all but uncontrollable" or something like that was stated by the engine guy. The dude drove it to a tragic ending, and only recently did I hear that the tragedy may not result in death, but the injured party is slowly recovering. And I'm sure if the driver of that boat would have thought twice about driving that boat in the manner it was documented on this web site before all his posts were deleted, he may have had a different outcome. And after the accident the guy came on this website and complained about the insurance company not wanting to pay for the accident I sure don't want to think back someday about this thread and remember someone doing something that has a bad ending and us debating it again.
I think some of the guys on this board will remember what I am talking about and probably feel the same way about it. If I hear of something that I think is an accident waiting to happen, I point it out.
