3/4 ton 01 Burb w/ 8.1 and 4:10 gear pulled my 353 Fastech very good but under-trucked w/ my 382 Fastech but only tow couple miles to the launch now. Wrink

2002 2500 Avalanche with 8.1L/4 spd Auto; 4.10 rear end gears and 4WD. Towing 12K lbs. 37 Active Thunder (boat, trailer, gear & fuel).

I have put air bags on all my tow vehicles, that way you will always tow level

tow a 42 trip cig revo (approx. 16.000 with fuel) with ford 350 diesel 2wd not dually & regular 10,000pd ball hitch w/ trailer brakes. tried to haul it to lake cumblerland from stlouis with a 4wd v8 f150, brakes not hooked up& bumper hitch.....didnt get too far.

1999 35ft fountain=2001 F-350 4x4 dually V10 with 4:30 gear. Waiting on a call from the dealer on a new 2005 F-550!!!! BZ

375stinger: do you ever have problems getting up the ramp with your 2wd? If so how bad and how do you solve those problems?
