Re: Air Bags for Rear Suspension?
I had the Firestone slam-air kit on my 04 Chevy 1500. The bags were ****ty. They did the job, but didn't last. I'm looking at getting the ride-rite bags for my 3/4 ton now. They look at little better than the slam-air bags, which were tiny.

Re: Air Bags for Rear Suspension?
You do not get additional load carrying capacity with the Kelderman Air Ride, nor do you sacrifice capacity. The only thing you gain is ride comfort. And isn't that exactly what you're after? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I need for extra tongue weight, do you have these? Is not designed for weight. |
Re: Air Bags for Rear Suspension?
Dave, I've got the Air Lift 1000 system on my Tahoe which has coil springs. I've had it for three years with good luck, it really helps with rear suspension sag (coils!) with heavy tongue weights. I added the on board compressor this year which is very convienent. Bought everything through Summit. I saw your boat on Thursday when I got my sled out of storage. Bob Smith was pointing it out to me and was pretty impressed with it. Have you been by to wax it lately? :D :D Steve
