Ausco trailer brakes?
Finally scraped the paint off my electric/hydraulic unit. This unit only has 2 wires, hot and ground.Currently using a reese controller. Are they compatible? The trailer brakes take at least 6 -10 seconds to lock up and I can still move the boat and trailer. It almost seems as if there isnt enough pressure.Anyone know how much pressure the Ausco unit puts out?Im ready to buy the 1500 lb unit online.I have a triple axle with disc on all 6 wheels.VIP steel

Re: Ausco trailer brakes?
My Ausco on my MYCO was a POS. I replaced it with the Titan and ordered my new small boat trailer with the Titan set up. They work great. The Ausco should put ot 1000 to 1500 PSI. Just stick a gage in the out port and activate the brake unit a couple of times and then check the PSI with the brake pedal depressed. Joe Murray

Go on line and google Titan trailer brakes. They are made in Australia and there is a master distributor in the US. Joe Murray
