Re: 2500 GMC Duramax pull Donzi 38 ZR, safe or not?
I just towed my 33 Baja Outlaw (7500lbs dry) from upstate NY to Pittsburgh
500 miles and towed my new 36 outlaw (8300lbs dry plus 200 gallons of gas) back on I-80 with my '04 Duramax. Went over every mountain in P.A. or it felt like it anyway. Truck did just fine.

If it is a late 04 LLY engine I would not go above the tow safe setting ""level 1" on the hypertech with that much wieght.
