That rumor was put to rest years ago.
On another note, I have a question. Why do SO many people think that the word "Cummins" has a "G" in it?

I heard it was going to be a Cummings, Ford owns Cummings don't they?

Truck looks good, but I wish GM would learn to put a set of real tires under their trucks, there overall diameter and wheel size in relationship to their wheel wells looks small on all their trucks.

I will say that none of the HD's I have been in with oversize tires/rims handle or ride as well as the stock tire size.
I personally would like to see an 18" rim/tire option as this still allows for enough rubber to protect the rims against the rough stuff.

I agree on leaving the 17" rims and tires that came on my 07 F350 truck after doing research. I do like the 19.5 or 22's I see on these modified dually's but with the amount of towing and the weights that I sometimes tow with I feel it is better suited to stay stock. Plus I never have any vibration at speeds which I have noticed sometimes on these modified trucks. I have all 3 brands and I notice that on all my GM's they are really lacking in the tire size dept. I just wish they would have gotten it straightened out for the 07's. We mostly purchased gm's but in 03 I changed the majority of the fleet to ford and couldn't be happier, but my partner prefers the GM's, we will see in Jan when we get our F450 and his new GMC dually's. I do alot more heavy towing where he does alot more driving as well as lighter loads. That's what both these trucks are suited for, the Ford can take more abuse, and is definitely tougher but is not as comfortable as the GM which will have a better ride and easier to get into but cant tow 15k as well as the Ford. Just my take on it. Jeff
