air intakes- worth it?- which one is best?

Are these worth the $$$ on a V10? From what I have heard, no modifications really make a difference. Had a Flowmaster dual exhaust on my last one, and it seemed to make a difference towing and maybe 1MPG highway mileage. Any input is appreciated.

damdonzi I had one that we modified since they were taking there lovely time to produce one for the V10 back in 1999 along with the hypertech programmer, headers, and flowmaster exhaust. I could run the rig and get a few mpgs better out of it did notice a more crisp throttle response out of the truck before I did the headers on it wth everything else.

I did the AFE and MBRP exhaust one week then did the Edge the next . I could tell a difference with just the intake and exhaust . Chevy though
