Has anyone seen a lost trucker?
 

Last Saturday my new car left California on a car carrier. It was supposed to be here Wed, Thursday at the latest as there were a couple of stops on the way. The driver has not called into the dealer since Monday. He has my car along with 3 others for this dealer. This is so frustrating. You know the excited feeling waiting to get something new, I haven't slept in nights. I'm sure he will be here but how do you have 4 of someones cars, and not even call if your days late? If anyone sees a lost trucker carrying 4 cars please point him to Fort Lauderdale! I can't take another night of waiting!

Typical truckers :mad: However, it usually takes about a week to get a car here from CA or vice versa.

He stopped here in Mo. and we unhooked the speedo and ran it around for awhile. Needs some work. :D

Call the carrier and get the drivers wireless number. Every carrier I have used has always given it to me, and the driver usually always answers his phone.

Hi Tom, I didn't arrange it, the dealer did. Of coarse I would have called you. They used some owner operator. I'm sure to save money. I'm sure there was a small margin on my new car. :rolleyes: :mad:

Gino, have you had the shipping company call the truck driver? I bought a 2006 Porsche 997S and the local dealer had to do a dealer trade with a Porsche dealer in Washington state to get me the car/options I wanted. there was some delay and it took almost 3 weeks to get the car to Florida.

Gino, alot of times the truckers will be in route and get called to pick up other cars, or they will miss a delivery time and have to sit at a dealership for an extra 12 hours.

Not a word. I told the dealer if it's not in by tomorrow to find me another one by the end of the week. They don't have all of the money so it's not an issue of getting ripped off. Just very frustrating!
