Ive pulled 12k with it, the suspension does not care for it but has enough muscle to do it. Is it safe...I usually tow 10k and less with my GMC and My Fords for the heavier loads. I use my Duallys for anything above 12k pounds like my boat which is 15k. Jeff

pull 20,000 on a gooseneck with 250 superduty 6.0 deisel.

try rear air bags,guys are towing 5th wheels at 15,000lbs with them ,me i profer 3500 daullys and i tow 12,000-20,000lbs with mine all over the country ,rain snow and montions all the time and i feel safe

I have pulled about 12k lbs with mine (same, but 05) a few times & 3-8klbs regularly with no problems.. :) Jamie

I have pulled 12+K several times, once in 100 degree weather, absolutely no problem. 06 Duramax 2500HD CC 4x4. The trailer was a little light on the tongue about 200lbs on the first tow, felt much more comfortable when we scooted the boat up the trailer a few inches to get more tongue weight.
