2008 Superduty
#12
I just drove a 6.4 Super Duty F250 FX4 Crew Cab. The engine is very quiet. Almost as quiet as a gasser. Nice upgrades in the interior. Truck "felt" smaller than my '05 F350 SD CC. The ride is MUCH more car like than the previous model - kinda rides like an F150. The turbo lag is gone.
Nice truck, lots more $$$, comfortable seats and ride, but I still prefer my '05 at this point. I guess I'll rethink that when I get to see/drive a new Lariat F350.

Its definitely quieter, like BillR said, its almost as quiet as a gasser. He tows 15K-18K trailer with them regularly, this 08' seems to do it effortlessly compared to the 07'. The 6.0's took a little longer to build boost than this twin turbo set up. The interior is the nicest Ive seen in any work truck.
Im sold on it....

I just picked mine up yesterday (wed. 1-31) I like it. Throttle response is very good for a stock oil burner & it's very quiet also & with the foam in the cab struture you can't hear any road noise either also can't hear the turbos. The dual turbos are for throttle response not max power. The small turbo helps build the boost up faster then the big turbo tales over on mid & top end it's not a twin turbo set-up it's completely differant. The new int. with the nav. system & satilite radio is awesome. (By the way F-350 4wd. daully.) I can't wait to see how it pulls my GTX.
