Roll off truck
I am looking at the possability of getting a roll off truck here soon. I currently have a 02 GMC C7500 grapple truck that I am thinking about getting rid of and replacing it with the roll off. Anyone have a real good connection on one? I have looked on truck trader and it seems the only trucks on there are from RDK over in Tampa. I dont want to spend 120K on a brand new truck, but dont really want one thats 15-20 years old either. I dont have a budget nailed down, it would really depend on how much I could get for my GMC, and also how many cans I would get. I know 3 is the min, but would look at possibly more. 20 and 30 yard cans is what i would be looking for.
I do demolition and land clearing, but my father in law is working for a builder selling for them and is on fire. I will be doing all their demo work, as well as trash removal for them. Saturday we have a meeting with a guy that I introduced them to here who has more cash than he can spend, and owns a 25 acre trac of land that he wants to build 60 houses on and has the county's OK already for. So there is a possability of needing enough cans for all of that as well.
Anyway enough blah blah from me. I would guess the budget for the truck would be in the 55-60K range(ish). The cans I can get locally here used for around 1500 each

Yeah, I just have not had a chance to call you, or them.. I will try to get ahold of ya tomorrow. Thanks man!... I have about 2 months to figure it out so im OK for right now. So far my father in law has been SCREAMIN in the buisness. I think it looks like the building trades here are switching from new construction to remodel work and they are getting in on the front of that curve.

Penske commercial rental division turns over their fleet pretty frequently, so they usely have a good selection. Renting from them is not so good!!!!

I haul mostly construction and demolition debris, conctete also when I do driveway removals. I think a 3rd air axle will be needed. Other than that unless he wants to sell me a new mack for 1/2 price, or if he can tear someones head off on a used trade in. I think I need to look at used only.
