Default Anyone here a Load Rite Trailer Dealer? HELP!!

I need a new complete axle for my Load Rite trailer and need the best and quickest deal I can find. Anybody have any ideas? Apparently the axle is custom and has to come from load rite.

I am posting in Q&A and General also. Thanks for the help!!!

I used to be a dealer for them, but thier service becam lousy.. At least for us anyway.. It's too bad they had a pretty nice trailer line.

You may want to try Frank Civitano @ Typhoon Marine in NJ.. They may have the line.. He is also an advertiser here.. Tell him Jamie sent you.. Jamie

Try Champion, they have many different configurations of axles...

Or you can just go to their home page and click on the PDF catalog.

true, that may work as well... As I agree, I dont think that they necessarily make thier own axles.. Jamie

The part itself was $1200.00 and nobody I found had an aftermarket alternative. Couple that with new wheels and tires which it really needed, and work on the bunks it needed and some other things and we were looking at about $2500.00 in repairs. I went ahead and ordered a new trailer from Instigator out of Houston. That way, it is all new, has a new warranty and I won't have to be messing with it and fixing it over the next year.

I appreciate all the responses, but none of the aftermarket guys were able to come up with a solution for me. I really thought the Champion custom axle would work out, but my axle was so destroyed that we couldn't get good measurements to build a new one. If we built it and it was off, then we'd be eating up tires and bearings on a regular basis.

Oh well, the new trailer is supposed to be here Friday. We'll get back on the water yet!

Hey jayhawk, I have an older Load Rite I'm putting new axles under. What are the dimensoins of yours? Maybe my old ones are what you need, or the next owner of your trailer will need...Bill

I've traded the old trailer to the dealer who is storing and swapping my boat to the new trailer for the services rendered. Worked out good enough for me. Thanks for the offer though! Most likely they wouldn't fit. They have about a gazillion different axle part numbers for different trailer configurations.
