The d-max is the quietest of them all. We pulled the fever back from ohio, it breezed threw it. Also alot of the 4x4 guys don't like the IFS on the d-max but I can tell you there is not a solid front axle truck that rides as good as the the d-max, rides like a caddy. LB7 was the first gen d max, 300hp, LLY was 305hp(part of 05-part 06. LBZ is later 06-07, the LLM is 365hp-660tq and is 07's. The LLY is just a detuned version of the LBZ. They are all bad ass engines.

Whats with you guys ? Do you have electric motors in your boats ? The first thing I did to my Harleys is change pipes .
After 3 months yanked out the stock exhaust from my SuperDuty and put on a Banks 5 " system . And my boat is FKN loud too ! Just like the kick ass stereo in all my toys .
Whats the world coming to ? jeez .
