Injectors and glow plug relay can give you problems
I had my '94 crew cab 3500 for 6 years and put 245K miles on it. Still one of the best trucks I've owned. Just don't get used to towing up hills fast. ;) |
I had 2 6.5 3/4 ton Suburbans. Other than sounding like a popcorn machine, I had zero problems with them.
Pretty rare truck you've got there. Have only ever seen a couple of them in 3/4 form, even less as a half ton. |
Its called a heavy half

basically a 3/4 ton rear & suspension with a beefier trans

Tow in 3 if you have an automatic- NOT OD.
You will have to beef the rear springs and a heavier hitch. They mostly put 8500 lb hitches from factory - not enuff for you. I would say the sonic is at least 8000 lbs plust trailer- they are known for being a heavy boat. Alumimum trailer will help. Good luck. Wannabe |
Thanks guys, I had read on a couple of different sights about the injector pump being a problem. Actually, I didnt read anything good about them. I`m glad to hear at least a couple good words. It was cheap as hell and if it holds up mechanically it should fit the bill!
