With that turd 6.0L, and now the flame throwing 6.4L, I went with the Duramax. You can cry "buy American" all you want, but when I buy a truck I want to drive it home, not around to the back of the dealership to the service dept!!

Everybody makes a decent truck. I could tell you two hundred stories about blown-up Duramaxes for every one you have. They all break sometimes.

Good quote..I have both, and with over 100k on some of the 03 and 04's....Both great trucks and both have their strong points. Mechanicly I have had less motor and tranny problems with the Fords pulling the real heavy loads. The GM's are more comfortable though.

I laugh at those guys knowing in time someone who really is a big fan of the team, brand or whatever is being pissed on is going to seek revenge on their vehicle while it is sitting unattended in a parking lot.
