just bought an 05 limited with 53K for $34 6.0 diesel 4x4 with all the options they could hang on it.

The 4x4 diesel Excursions have experienced a surge in value over the last year or so- we purchased a black '02 Limited Ultimate in June with 75K on the odo for $20K. It's loaded with every option including limited slip, DVD, memory pedals and seats, and all the controls in the wheel. I originally had a 2000 we bought nearly new (Ford Program truck) that I had to give up in '04 due to job loss, and when it came time to replace it, we thought about a newer 3/4 Suburban, or another X. I had such a great experience with the first one that I just couldn't pull the trigger on a 6.0L equipped one, so I found the best 7.3 within a 500 mile radius of where we live and bought it.
No regrets so far- just a huge aftermarket wish-list!:D
It's sad they quit building them- they're a wonderful multi-purpose truck!

We have a 2001 excursion lmtd with the V-10 and love it we have 70k miles and couldnt ask for a better vehicle to tow the boat or haul the kids and dogs.
