Have you ever seen a dealer's "detail" job. I won't let them touch my vehicles. Personally I don't like swirl marks, or burned paint.

Some salesmen get offended, but do you really want the Mexican outback detailing your 50k $ truck?

Mexican might do a better job than the other

Thanks for the info....where can I get a clay bar??

napa sells the 3M one, walmart, pep boys, auto zone...when you get it cut it into blocks with a piece of wire and flatten it out, use real slippery soap/water solution, and have at it. think of it as playdoh that helps you, the flatter you make it the more it will last. most of all if the clay sticks while you are rubbing onthe hood, you need more soap/lube..slipery is good and dont press real hard, let the clay do the work...it's the equivelant of about a 4000 grit sand paper. call me if you have any issues.

Had a white '00 250 that had rail dust that showed up a few months after bought. Covered under warrenty. Rust spots showed up again later and dealer couldn't cover under warranty as they said it was a new dusting condition. Clay bar is the bomb.
