We just blew up a '06 with a procharger. pulled the heads and the piston set sideways in the cylinder wall which sent the rod through the block. the pist skirts are a inch and a half long. I have talk to a few people and they say thay are having problems with them doing this with boost or nitrous.

One bad unit.
Tim, I looked on the site but could not find a price....any ideas. Drove the GT and GT350 cars yesterday. You can feel the difference-350hp, hear the difference and shifts are right on-Hurst 5 speed, stock shifts were good but not as precise. Thanks Jeff

Yeah you got to watch that shift to 3rd, thats what gets a bunch of guys. I went with the Pro 5.0 shifter, first mod I did, car had like 175 miles on it. The stock shifter is good, but you do have to be precise with it.

Firehawk....how must boost man?? I've seen a few stock blocks let go, but it was over 16 #s when they went. I'd never run a stock one that high myself, but you know some folks.....LOL

Jassman, there is 5 of the Roush 428 package cars on E-Bay right now for like $49,900 buy it now price.

Ford is bringing back the BULLITT edition for the 2008 models, that'd be a sweet ride with forced induction.

428 Cars can be bought at $46k. 427s are about 1500 less. '07 427s are in the area of 42.5k.
I found an '07 427 in black with grey stripes and black/red interior. It's new in the dealers lot here in miami. Sticker was 51k. He went right to 43k. I might buy the leftover if I can get it for 38... we'll see.

I'd like to jump in on this conversation, but I think my 78 Mustang II mini PRO STREET is no match for all this new IRON.

Tim - do you have some more info on the 07 427's? I am in the same boat as you and would like to find a couple of leftovers that could be had for less than $40k. Send me a PM if you prefer
